Care to Bet*

Macau Reggae Boyz' Sensational 7-7-7 (W-D-L) form has not won them many fans over but it certainly provided us with an almost unique pattern. Now we'll just have to fit an 8 into the middle of that equation on the last day of the season. 1 X 2?

Well, "Lads R broke" certainly enjoyed the season the lads from Macau played, and they have presumably offered 3% of the billions they've amassed from wagers placed on the Boyz.

Sources point out that one ironic term of the donation was a clause stipulating that only 0.5% of the donation could be used toward the purchase of new players. They certainly don't want the team to reach a W-W-W pattern and lose their unexpectedness.

So, a new stadium is on the cards, as well as a driver's license, presumably, for the president, Ziga Broz, in the coming year of 2009. Mr. Broz has also made light work of the fact that all the club fans
have been replaced by men shouting with some cards on their hands:

"It certainly is a whole new ball game, since we've moved from Jamay to Macau. It's a whole new culture, and we just have to smoke a bit less pot and a few more cigarettes. Oh, and kill a few bills here and there.", he said.

All ye punters out there, Macau has just gained another reason to become the gambling destination of the planet. And it's got three letters only. MRB - Where the odds are the highest! ;)

Na altura, a equipa do Macau Reggae Boyz tinha um conjunto de 7 vitórias, 7 empates e 7 derrotas, com apenas um jogo para disputar no final da primeira época da Jamaican League, onde terminou na 8a posição.
